NEWS RELEASE
The City of Troy will open the Dye Mill Road facility on Monday, March 31,
2008. The facility will be open designated days and hours in order to
provide a flexible schedule to residents of Troy. The hours of operation
will be:

12:00 noon - 8:00 p.m. |

12:00 noon - 8:00 p.m. |

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. |
These hours will be maintained through November 29, 2008.
The facility will be closed on the following legal holidays: May 26
(Memorial Day), July 4 (Independence Day), September 1 (Labor Day), and
November 27 (Thanksgiving Day).
The only items that can be accepted at the Dye Mill Road facility are:
grass, garden refuse, dirt, sod, small rocks, broken concrete, bricks or
block. EPA regulations do not permit the acceptance of brush, sticks or
twigs.
Persons using the facility will have to provide proof that they are
residents of Troy. The items to be deposited will also be checked for
acceptance. |
