Invitational Soccer Tournament

Miami County Special Olympics will host a Statewide Special Olympic Soccer Invitational Tournament on June 2nd at the Troy Memorial Stadium. Registration starts at 8:00 am with games getting underway at 9:00 am. Games will include Traditional and Unified 5-a-side teams. Traditional teams are comprised of Special Olympic athletes while Unified teams consist of Special Olympic athletes and athletes without disabilities. Special Olympic Soccer follows FIFA standards. All costs associated with this event are sponsored by Peoples Savings Bank and Dayton Power and Light.

Riverside of Miami County Adult Recreation and Special Olympics Program Involvement
This program is for adults with disabilities who qualify for services from the Miami County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. Our program focuses on recreation and leisure opportunities that will assist individuals with disabilities to live, work and play as full members of the Miami County Community. With this in mind the Adult Recreation and Special Olympics program will enter approximately 200 individuals with and without disabilities in the following Strawberry Festival Events Bowling Tournament, Co-ed Volleyball Tournament, Night Golf Outing, Bed Races, Softball Tournament, Berry Beach Volleyball, Pie Eating Contest, Bike Tour, Classic Run, Shortcake Special and Tug of War. Entries fees for these events will be sponsored by Peoples Savings Bank and Dayton Power and Light.
