As proud as I am of Troy, I am even more proud to be called a Citizen of the United States. The freedom we enjoy is possible only through the sweat and sacrifice of brave men and women who serve in the armed forces or serve as public servants; protecting our borders, patrolling our streets or running into burning buildings. The 2006 Troy Strawberry Festival theme is "All American Berries", and is a tribute to those who make this Nation the land I love.

The Festival began 30 years ago with one vision, to make it possible for churches, PTOs, and other non-profit organizations of Miami County to raise funds in 2 days so they can devote the remainder of their time and resources to children, seniors, students, and others in need of their help.
To this day, it has remained true to that vision.

On behalf of the Troy Strawberry Festival and the Troy Area Chamber of Commerce come and taste the wide variety of delicious strawberry cuisine, provided by the Miami County non-profit organizations, and browse through our 275 booths featuring premium arts and crafts exhibits.

My name is John Schweser and I would like you to join me on June 3rd and 4th to celebrate Troy Strawberry Festival's 30th year.

John Schweser
Troy Strawberry Festival Chairman
