The Billing and Collection Department is located on the first floor of
City Hall at 100 South Market Street, Troy OH 45373.
The phone number
is (937) 335-4151, and the fax number is (937) 440-1352.
The City of
Troy Billing and Collection Department is primarily responsible for
administering the customer service contracting for water and sewer services
for the City of Troy. As the department name suggests, this encompasses the
billing of the City’s water and sewer service customers and collecting the
amounts due for those services provided. Additionally, the Billing and
Collection Department administers the billing and collection for other City
services including residential refuse and recycling, bulk water usage,
stormwater assessments, etc. Many of these charges will appear on a single
billing from the City of Troy.
In order to receive water and sewer
services from the City, a potential customer needs only to visit the Billing
and Collection Department, present a valid picture I.D., provide the proper
documentation, and complete an “Owner
Utility Service Contract" or a "Tenant
Utility Service Contract". You may click on the links to the right for the
appropriate Service Contract Form to see what proper documentation is
required at sign-up. You may also print a Service Contract Form in advance,
complete and bring to our office.
To assist you in answering
questions you may have, you may want to take a look at the “Frequently
Asked Questions” link on the right. We have provided information
regarding contracting, how to estimate your bill, what agencies are
available for assistance, and much more.
If you want to have your
monthly utility payment automatically deducted from your bank account,
please click on the link “Automatic Deduction Form".
You may complete the form, include a voided check, and deliver to the
Billing and Collection Department. Many of our residents have already taken
advantage of this service.
