September 15, 2009 MINUTES OF COUNCIL A special session of Troy City Council was held Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers. Members Present: Clark, Douglas, Harrah, Hutchinson, Kendall, Kirkham and Schweser. Presiding Officer: Martha A. Baker, President of Council Others Present: Michael L. Beamish, Mayor Patrick E. J. Titterington, Director of Public Service and Safety Grant D. Kerber, Director of Law Richard L. Cultice, City Auditor NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING, STATING THAT THE PURPOSE OF THE MEETING WAS TO RECESS INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION TO DISCUSS PREPARATION FOR NEGOTIATIONS WITH OUR PUBLIC EMPLOYEES CONCERNING THEIR COMPENSATION AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT, WAS READ AND SIGNED. A motion was made by Mr. Clark, seconded by Mr. Harrah, that Council recess into executive session to discuss preparation for negotiations with our public employees concerning their compensation and terms and conditions of employment. Motion passed by unanimous roll call vote. At 6:34 p.m. Council recessed into Executive Session.
