On November 17, 2003, the City of Troy presented a
Resolution of Appreciation to the Hobart Institute of Welding Technology for
the donation of the Michael Bashaw scuplture "Sound Chamber" to the City. This innovative sculpture incorporates various percussion instruments...gongs, bells, and chimes...that invite the observer to interact. When the four large harps catch the wind, the sculpture creates it's own unique music. The sculpture is located on the northeast corner of the Troy Community Park. |
