Requirements for employment with the Troy Police Department include the following:

  • be a citizen of the United States
  • be 21 years old
  • be a high school graduate of have a GED certificate
  • have a valid Ohio driver's license and good driving record
  • speak, read and write the English language fluently
  • successfully complete all phases of the selection process
