The Public Works Department is comprised of 3 divisions, all providing public safety and health services dealing with Engineering, Utilities, and Operations. Comprised of 73 dedicated employees, the city provides right-of-way construction oversight, drinking water and wastewater treatment utilities, and solid waste and street maintenance.

The Public Works Department is here to serve you, the Troy resident! With over 100 miles each of water and sewer mains, and over 96 miles of streets to maintain, our tasks require skilled and trained employees.
