Children's Treasure Hunt
The Children's Treasure Hunt will take place on Saturday, June 3, 2000 at the City Park. Chairperson for this event is Sheri Walker, and the event is sponsored by OfficeTeam and Elm Packaging Company.
To explain this event, it is kind of like an Easter egg hunt, only the children will be searching for treasures, from candy to small trinkets. There will also be random drawings for free things after each treasure hunt is over.

The event will take place at the City Park near the brick shelter in a roped-off area. Children ages 18 months through 2 years will begin their hunt at 2:00 p.m. Children ages 3 & 4 will begin their hunt at 2:15 p.m., and children ages 5 & 6 will begin their hunt for treasures at 2:30 p.m.

Those who have been so kind to contribute to the Children's Treasure Hunt this year include: Dairy Queen, McDonald's, Friendly's Restaurant, Frisch's, Burger King, Wendy's, Skyline Chili, Wal-Mart and Home Interiors and Gifts.

Entry deadline for this event is May 20, 2000.
