Dear Volleyball Participant, Welcome to the Third Annual Berry Beach Volleyball Tournament, which will be held on Saturday, June 3 and Sunday, June 4 as part of this year's 24th annual Troy Strawberry Festival. The tournament will take place on the Miami River flood plain located between North Market and Adam Street. We are going to have another excellent tournament thanks to our title sponsors Third Savings and the Dayton Daily News and our court sponsors Martin Marietta Aggregates and Slone Excavating Inc. This is the third year for the tournament and it is expected to draw many teams from Miami, Montgomery, Greene and Clark counties. It is designed for a variety of skill levels from highly-skilled to just-for-fun. |

New this year is a $250.00 cash prize for each team
winning in it's division. Also a player hospitality area is being provided
by the Dayton Daily News.
As I mentioned, the year 2000 marks the 24th Annual Troy Strawberry Festival. This year we celebrate the home of the festival, the city of Troy - as the Berry-Heart-Of-It-All. Free parking, free entertainment, plenty of great food and crafts can make your time at the tournament fun and enjoyable. So enter your team today. The number of teams in each division will be limited. See you on the beach!
