Troy's updated Unified Development Code was approved in October 2026 and included major revisions to City's Zoning Code, Subdivision Regulations, the Sign Code, and the Fence Code. The new Unified Development Code (UDC) is designed to make zoning rules simpler to understand, easier to administer, and better aligned with the City's long-term growth plans.
