In recognition of Fire Prevention Month, there will be an open house at Troy Fire Station 1 (19 E. Race Street), Troy, Ohio on October 18 from 3-5 pm.
Activities include dedication of the City of Troy’s new fire engine and a display of the inflatable smoke house. Also, in recognition that October is also “Breast Cancer Awareness Month”, firefighters will be selling tee shirts with proceeds going to “Pink Ribbon Girls”, a local non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families affected by breast cancer. Citizens are invited to attend the open house for Fire Prevention Month.
