City of Troy, Ohio Extends Appreciation to the Thom and Pat Robinson Fund for Donation to the Fire Department Bicycle Paramedic Program
On behalf of the City of Troy and the Troy Fire Department, Mayor Michael Beamish has extended a heartfelt “thank you” to the Thom and Pat Robinson Fund for their generous donation to the Troy Fire Bicycle Paramedic Program. With their support of $12,500, the Troy Fire Department has been able to purchase and outfit four new Volcanic bicycles with equipment that will serve our community for years to come. These bicycles will be used by the Bike Medic Program to expedite EMS service at City of Troy festivals and events throughout the warm months.
Commented Fire Chief Matthew Simmons: “The Troy Fire Department strives to provide the best service for our community and we are proud to work with community leaders and partners that believe in our mission. Their generosity and support only helps to enhance our levels or service, professionalism, and dedication to the citizens and visitors of the City of Troy. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful people in our community who are willing to lend a hand and make Troy, Ohio a beautiful and safe place to call home”.
