The City of Troy will smoke-test sanitary sewers in the Brook Park area beginning September 17, 2019. The testing will begin on Brook Park Drive in the vicinity of Lytle Road and continue north including Beekman Drive, Keller Drive, Waterbury Drive, and Sanders Court. The smoke testing will help locate places where clear water is entering or leaking into the City’s sanitary sewers.
Residents of the area subject to testing will be notified on September 13. On the day of the testing, employees from the City of Troy Sewer Maintenance Division will go door to door to notify residents and provide additional information. The smoke poses no health risk, leaves no residue, and will not cause damage to homes or property. Please call the City of Troy Sewer Maintenance Division at 937-335-1914 with any questions.
