NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PY 2020 SMALL CITIES COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ALLOCATION, AND CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAMS
CITY OF TROY, OHIO
The City of Troy, Ohio intends to apply to the Ohio Development Services Agency (ODSA) for funding under the Program Year (PY) 2020 Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Community Development Allocation, and Critical Infrastructure Programs, federally funded programs administered by the State of Ohio. The City of Troy is eligible for $150,000 of CDBG Community Development Allocation Program funding, and $500,000 of CDBG Critical Infrastructure Program funding provided the City meets applicable program requirements. On February 11, 2020, the City of Troy conducted its first public hearing to inform citizens about the CDBG program, how funds may be used, what activities are eligible, and other important program requirements.
Based on both citizen input and local officials’ assessments of the City’s needs, the City of Troy is proposing to undertake the following CDBG Community Allocation Program activities for Program Year 2020:

This second of two required public hearings will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the City Hall Basement Conference Room, 100 South Market Street, Troy, Ohio to give citizens an adequate opportunity to review and comment on the City’s proposed CDBG applications, including the proposed activities summarized above, before the City submits its applications to the Ohio Development Services Agency, Office of Community Development on June 17, 2020. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, only the first 8 people will be allowed to attend; however, if you have comments/questions you can submit them to Nikki Reese via email at Nikki.Reese@troyohio.gov by Monday, May 18, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.
Citizens are encouraged to attend this public hearing on May 19, 2020 to express their views and comments on the City’s proposed CDBG Community Development Allocation and Critical Infrastructure Program Applications. City Hall’s Lower Level Conference Room is a handicapped accessible facility.
