Troy’s 2020 repaving program is underway. Last week, crews completed milling (the process to remove and smooth existing asphalt) around Troy. Weather permitting, crews will be milling on Franklin and Oxford Streets on July 27, and will finish on Plum Street on July 28. Paving began on July 25 on Lytle Road, and will be continuing this week on York Lane, Tamplin Drive, and Harrison Street.
This is the third consecutive year that Troy has performed a $1 million paving and sidewalk repair program. City Engineering staff prioritize repaving yearly, considering the condition and traffic level of each area.
