Sealed proposals will be received until 12 o'clock noon on Thursday, February 10, 2022 by electronic bid only for the following project:  Polyphosphate Chemical for the Water Treatment Plant in accordance with the specifications now on file with the City of Troy.

The electronic bidding will be handled through the Bid Express service at www.bidexpress.com. Vendors must register, set up to bid, and review each solicitation the vendor intends to bid electronically on prior to bidding.

A bid guaranty as follows is required to accompany each proposal as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted a contract will be entered into:

•          A bid bond in the amount of 10% payable to the City of Troy, or

•          A certified check, a cashier's check, Official Bank Check, or a letter of credit in the amount of 10% payable to the City of Troy, Ohio

The City of Troy reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids when to the advantage of the City and to select the lowest and best bid submitted in its opinion.
