Improvements to the intersection of West Main Street and Experiment Farm Road is currently the subject of a ODOT feasibility study.

Background:
In September 2023, the City Council Committee of the Whole discussed a traffic study pertaining to the West Main Street / Experiment Farm intersection, including a proposal for a roundabout at that intersection. The presentation is viewable here.
In June 2026, City Council held a work session and sought public input on the proposed roundabout. American Structurepoint presented a feasibility study, authorized by City Council in 2025, which identifies alternative plans for the intersection. Those plans include improvements to the existing configuration and alternative roundabout designs.
