The City of Troy is thrilled to congratulate the winners of our 2025 Holiday Banner Art Contest! The contest invited students in grades 7-12 to submit artwork for decorative winter banners to be displayed along Adams Street and in downtown Troy.
The contest received over 150 submissions from students attending Miami East High School, Troy High School, Troy Junior High, and St. Patrick Catholic School. With so much fantastic artwork, judges–including Mayor Robin Oda and City staff, local art teachers, and members of Troy Main Street's Design Committee–had the tough task of choosing 12 winning designs. The winning designs will be placed on light poles on Adams Street, near Hobart Arena, and in downtown Troy in mid-November.
