On Saturday, September 14, the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center will hold its annual Troy, Ohio PorchFest from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The festival will feature 40 one-hour concerts on porches throughout the Southwest Historic District, as well as music, food trucks, and arts vendors at the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center at 301 West Main Street.
To accommodate the festival, the South Cherry Street parking lot will be closed until 6:00 p.m. on September 14. Between noon and 6:00 p.m., one-block sections of Grant Street will be intermittently closed between W. Simpson Street and McKaig Avenue, and one-block sections of S. Plum Street will be intermittently closed between W. Simpson Street and W. Race Street. All intersections will remain open. Troy-Hayner volunteers will staff the barricaded areas and remind festival attendees to stay out of roadways.
Drivers are asked to be cautious and watch for pedestrians, and residents and visitors alike are invited to enjoy this unique event. For more information, see the attached map and visit www.troyhayner.org/porchfest.
